I have been an attorney for more than 18 years. For several years in the mid-1990s, I worked within the Denver, Colorado, drug court system. This court was one of the first of its kind and was founded in the 1990s. The court was designed to deal with helping to place those with substance abuse issues in the appropriate drug recovery program and enforcing appropriate punitive measures for those involved in drug dealing and sales. I now use this experience to defend clients charged with:
